It’s now official that Lars Kepler was the best-selling author of the decade in Sweden, across all categories, genres and formats.
In a press release that went out today, Albert Bonniers Förlag states the following:
“Albert Bonniers Förlag can gratifyingly boast the decade’s greatest authorship, in Lars Kepler. The crime duo has had more No. 1 placements, and top ten-positions across the bestseller lists outlining the book industry’s joint annual sales, than any other author – Swedish or international.
In the fiction category, which includes both Swedish and translated books, Lars Kepler saw the most No. 1 placements (4) and positions in total (13) on Svensk Bokhandel’s top ten-bestseller lists outlining the book industry’s joint annual sales. In a summation of all the categories – fiction, non-fiction, children’s and YA, paperback, audio books and e-books – Lars Kepler likewise holds the most No. 1 placements (7) and the most placements in total (38) on Svensk Bokhandel’s top ten-bestseller lists detailing the book industry’s joint annual sales.”
